Vice Secretary, Emily Boardman and colleague, Sarah Kenny held a Christmas Raffle at HMP Liverpool.
“We raised £648.00 to support local families at Christmas, through the Sefton Community Pantry. These funds were used to support two families and help them buy presents for their children this Christmas, as well as purchasing food and other necessities. The PSCF kindly matched the £648.00. Lynne, who runs Sefton Community Pantry and her team of volunteers were so grateful for the continued support of the staff at HMP Liverpool.
Joanne Townley, one of the Nurses at HMP Liverpool won a bouquet of flowers on the raffle, but very generously donated them to the volunteers at the Pantry, to thank them for all of their hard work in the local Community. The ladies were so touched by Joanne’s kind gesture!”.
