I am writing to confirm receipt of the kind and generous donation of £500 to Middleton Central Foodbank which we received this week.This is chq 800975 signed 3/1/2026.
I have attached a Thank You certificate in acknowledgement of the donation which we will use to help us support families and individuals through the coming months.
Demand for support from the Foodbank remains stubbornly high as the continued increasing cost of food is putting a significant strain upon local families struggling to get by.
In the last 6 months since Sept 25 we’ve issued over 500 emergency food parcels supporting over 1,000 adults and children. We’ve received 11.5 tonnes of donated food, and given out 12.3 tonnes which means we continue to have to buy in additional stocks of food to keep ahead of the demand.
Thankfully donors, like yourselves, help us to meet this ongoing need.
