FAO John H White MBE
Good morning
My name is Gary Gouldburn and I am a serving prison officer at HMP Holme House. I have just been to a presentation from the charity fund for those who had raised funds for various causes over the past few years and was given a cheque for £2000 which is fantastic. This email is just to say a massive thank you on behalf of myself and more importantly the charity I support.
The charity I raised fund for was Melanoma-Me. I raised the money by sponsoring every goal and assist a young local ice hockey player called Fin Bradon scored during the season for the Billingham Stars. This player was the son of an officer who worked at Holme House and this charity was picked as it had helped a colleague of mine who had been ill and it had been a great support to him and his family during his illness.
This charity is a small local charity which helps people who are suffering from skin cancer and relies on support from public donations and this amazing gesture will mean that the charity can continue to help and support those suffering from the effects of skin cancer.
So once again John thank you so much for this incredible donation.
Many thanks
Gary Gouldburn

Good morning John
Just a little feed back from the generous donation the fund given to my charity the other day, Melanoma-Me foundation. I have been in touch with them and cashed the cheque and they have asked me to pass on their thanks and gratitude whilst going onto to say that the money will go to providing 60 sessions of counselling to those effected by skin cancer. I have also spoken to Fin Bradon, the young ice hockey player whose goal scoring helped provide the initial fund raising and his response was that he was delighted to help and was shocked at the extra donation.
Thank you once again .
