Neonatal Unit. Royal Hospital Oldham. HMP Hindley. X 1

Dear John,

I am contacting you today to pass on my sincere gratitude for receiving a cheque of £250 to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Oldham Royal.

Vicki Sampey put an application in on our behalf as she seen my fundraising posts that our local school Cardinal Langley helped with.

I just wanted to contact you myself to say I have received cheque and will be taking it to cashiers today.

Just a bit of background on our unit.

We are NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
We are a level 3 unit with 37 cot spaces and 4 bedrooms for parents to stay if needed.
Our babies are mostly very premature from 23 weeks up very poorly.
We have over 150 staff just for the unit.
We have babies coming to us from all over the Northwest, as well as our own local babies.

I do fundraise throughout the year to buy our babies and family members (mum, dad, grandparents, siblings) and so on gifts for occasions. To provide these though we fundraise, or our staff buy them.

The cheque that you have provided will go a very long way. Please can you pass on our thanks to all involved.

Kind regards
Carol
