“We are extremely grateful for the continued support the Prison Service Charity has given to our charity Northumbria Blood Bikes. As a charity run completely by unpaid volunteers all of the donations we receive go straight into keeping our charity operational supporting the NHS. For every £100 we receive that is approximately 40 jobs we are able to complete. Since 2017 you have enabled us to complete around 4,049 jobs which improved at least that many people’s healthcare journeys and potentially lives saved. In real terms that figure will be much higher as each job is likely to be carrying a number of items at one time. Without the donations we receive we would not be able to be there for others in their hour of need and we thank you for your support.”
