I wanted to get in touch as we have recently received a very kind £2,000.00 donation from your charity fund, arising from a Legacy bequeathed to it. We are so grateful for such support which enables us to continue providing the outstanding care our community needs.
I know that you mentioned a Lucy Whitehall in your letter and the fact that you have supported St John’s Hospice, Lancaster in 2022. We currently don’t have anybody working for us with that name so I just wanted to make sure this wonderful donation was indeed intended for us here at our Hospice, before processing your cheque.

What a wonderful legacy; to have provided such a boost to so many charities. I know how much it means to us here at St John’s.
We pride ourselves on being able to provide holistic care, recognising that when we care for someone, it isn’t about the illness alone. Last year, we were overjoyed to expand our services
to provide bereavement support at our Forget Me Not Centre for children and families in North Lancashire, South Cumbria and parts of North Yorkshire. By providing this additional service,
we can be there for one of the most difficult times someone in our community will face today….and tomorrow.
We can only offer this, because of donations like yours.
