In October 2022 HMP/YOI Hindley supported Ronald McDonald House Manchester by providing all the food and drink to their sponsored Halloween Fire Walking Event. PSCF Vice Treasurer Denise Bolton helped cooked all the food and Vicki, Nikki and Sara helped out front. Emma Darbyshire who works at Hindley was sponsored by her colleague to brave the fire walk. A total of £926 was raised with sponsorship and money taken for food/drink. This was then matched by the PSCF meaning a total of £1,852 was raised for a fantastic place.
