I am so pleased to share that Leo’s first post treatment MRI was clear. No new growth in the previous tumor bed and no new tumors in brain, spine, or kidneys!!! This is wonderful amazing fantastic news for which we are extremely grateful.
Leo’s nausea has not let up even though we have tried about every possible med/formula ect. Unfortunately his scan gave us an explanation which is a scary one. There seems to be a spot that they are calling radiation necrosis on his brain stem. He had an infusion called avastin to treat it yesterday, shortly after the scan and will get this medication every 2 weeks for the next 8 weeks. He’s also started on a steroid to help control the inflammation. We are really hopeful that these treatments will heal his little brain.
On a more positive note our concerns for pulmonary hypertension have finally subsided and whatever was going on after the last high dose chemo round seems to have resolved!!
Please continue to pray for Leo. We love you all and are grateful for the support and love we feel.

As you can see Felix is very happy!!
Please pass on our sincere thanks to the committee for the opportunity to attend the AGM.We all had a lovely day and it was heartwarming to hear about the causes the charity fund helps and some of the individuals personal stories. Thank you to the fund and its members for the cheque for Jakes equipment fund. I have attached photos of Jake in his Delichon Buggy. The charity fund helped us to purchase the accessories to upgrade it earlier this year.
Warmest wishes ,
Barbara & Steve on behalf of Jake.

I wanted to personally say a big thank you for the Donation given to Rainbows by the PSCF and also for all of your hospitality on the day. I know that over the years your organisation has donated a huge amount to Rainbows. The money is gratefully received and will really benefit the children, young people and their families. Rainbows aims to bring happiness and help to make memories during the most difficult times of people's lives and if it wasn't for donations such as yours, this would not be possible. Thanks also for the friendly welcome that I received and the lovely lunch. There was a very warm and sincere atmosphere during the meeting and it was a privilege for me to spend time with you. Thank you once again,
Julie Feechan ( Ambassador)
